What Do Itchy Rashes On The Back And Shoulder Indicate?
Hi, I have a rash. It stared on my arm and is now on my back, shoulder even a spot on my leg. I thought it might be ringworm but kinda rules that out. Thought maybe Shingles but don't think it's that either. I'm a 60 year female. Don't think it's from gardening. It's itchy.
The rash could be a Ringworm as it is associated with itching. Shingles rash is usually not associated with itching rather it is associated with pain and fever.
It could be an eczema too. So, I recommend you to consult your Dermatologist for arriving at a possible diagnosis and for initiating the treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
In my opinion, the rash could be a Tinea infection (Ringworm). But it is very important to rule out other conditions such as eczema, folliculitis etc, after proper clinical examination. So, I request you to visit your Dermatologist for arriving at a proper diagnosis and for initiating treatment.
