there are little brown specs in my phlegm. Every morning I wake up with a dry, sore throat and it progressively gets more mucous-y during the first hour of the day. It then usually dies down and I have slight coughing throughout the day. What could this be?
The brown specs can be dried blood or infected mucus flakes and both of these are not a good sign , and have to be evaluated by your doctor. please dont delay and meet an ent doctor , he will examine you and guide you further.
Thanks
