What Do Lumps In The Groin Indicate?

My partner has three small, hard, painless lumps beneath the skin of her groin, two on the left side of her hip flexor, and one on the right (smaller than the other two). They move, but only barely. She reports no pain or problems, only a slight twinge occasionally when she moves her thighs or bends at the waist. She told me she noticed them two or three days ago and that they ve shrunk slightly in size. She shows no sign or fever or infection otherwise, other than a bug bite beneath her navel that was inflamed a few days ago and is now finally healing. I worry it might be a problem with her lymph nodes, but she thinks it might be the onset of snapping hip syndrome. Can you provide advice?

Hi,
These are most likely to be swollen lymph nodes. This is common in this area and nodes can swell at the slightest infection. It may be in response to the bite she has suffered.
They will probably disappear over the next week. If they are still present in 4 weeks times, I suggest a visit to your doctor would be in order for an assessment.
