What Do Oval Red Flat Spots On Chest And Abdomen Indicate?
I have a few oval red flat spots on my chest and abdomen. Most are about half inch to an inch in size. One on my upper abdomen is rather large in comparison to approximately two inches in diameter. They re not raised, aren t irritating in any way. After time they fade from the inner circle out - leaving a red edge. Haven t put anything on them as again, they aren t irritable in any way. This latest one that s larger than all the others makes me wonder if maybe it s time to seek treatment.
Hello and welcome to HCM i can understand your concern for these spots. would you please also mention if there is any history of fever, sore throat or any infection within last 3-4 weeks, also do you pets at home? From your history it seems that you might be having a fungal infection, tinea corporis to be specific, however examination is required for confirmatory diagnosis. kindly visit your nearest dermatologist. Thanks
