What Do Painful Lumps On The Fingers While On Plaquenil Indicate?
I have been on Plaquenil for several years and I am getting many nodules on my fingers that are increasingly growing in size and causing pain and discomfort. My Dr. says it's unusual since I'm not on Methotrexate. When I was on Remicade they went away but I got a serious infection on Remicade and ended up with sepsis. Do you have any suggestions?
Painful lumps on the fingers indicate possible alterations at microcellular level with fibrous tissue changes to certain areas of the body. A better insight can be possible with a detailed history, physical examination and certain basic lab tests.
