What Do Red Bumps On Areola And In Armpit Indicate?

My 14 year old son has had some red bumps that have come up on his areola and in his armpit. The bumps are red and feel like a pimple. They are somewhat sore to the touch and he says it just feels weird. Of course he is worried. I was wondering if it could be something like a clogged duct or hair follicle. Any toughts? He is very active and plays a lot of sports.

My Dear

Welcome to Healthcaremagic!
I have noted the contents of your mail.

I think your son is absolutely normal. the small red bumps being referred to by you are simply the result of physical activity and the hormonal changes that your son is u8ndergoing. These are part of the normal adolescence changes which affect all children in some form or the other. He might also be experiencing hair growth on face and certain other areas of body along with change in voice, increase in musculature, and several other changes. please treat this too as part of the same overall process of puberty.

I hope your anxiety is now relieved and we wish him good health from our team at Healthcaremagic!
