Hello, You may have some deficiencies. First Make sure that your vitamins are well balanced. A simple blood panel test can check your system functions. Often changes in the mouth can be due to stress in your system. Make sure that you are well hydrated. Dehydration can cause irritation to tissue. Many medications have the side effect of a dry mouth. Use some dental products designed for a dry mouth such as rinses, toothpaste and gum. Think of any habits that may contribute including allergic type reactions. Your physician can screen for auto immune diseases. Gastric and sinus disorders can cause a change in the chemistry of your mouth. Your dentist can evaluate any sores. Viral conditions are common and often reoccur with stress. Fungal infections in the mouth can create sensitive areas. Look for redness and a coating in the tongue. Since you have visited the dentist, you should have been diagnosed and treated any dental conditions that I would normally caution to have checked such as broken teeth, grinding habits, abscessed and other infections. Thank you for your inquiry.
