Hi i am 22 female weight 120 and am 5'1. I started getting some swollen taste buds towards the front of my tounge and now I have a very sore/ raw feeling throat with itchy ears. I have allergies and ashma very bad.Could this just be from that or do you think it is worse?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain swollen taste buds can occur due to allergic reaction and it is commonly seen in allergies.. Sore throat and raw feeling in throat along with itching in ears seem to be more evidently due to throat infection leading to infection in ears as there is a communicating tube [eustachian tube] between ears and throat.. You can take a short course of antibiotics like Augmentin or Levofloxacin [only if not allergic],anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, anti-allergics like Levocetrizine, do warm saline gargles and steam inhalations.. Avoid spicy and chilled foods..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
