Hiiiiiiii doctor.today morning i test pregnency test in the prega news pregnency kit.first i put 3 drops of urine and then after some time i put another 3 drops.now two lines are visible one is dark pink and another is light pink.what is the meaning of it.plz help me.
Hello dear Understand your concern In pregnancy there is two line One line for control designated ' C' (It is quality control check. It should be dark pink in color suggests it is working properly) Another line for test designated 'T'. It will positive if HCG is in urine (10-100 mIU/L).
So in your case it is slight positive if light pink color on 'T' If light pink color on 'C', there is defect in pregnancy kit. Yous should repeat the test.
Following are the cause slight positive test: done very early (10 days before missed period ), ectopic pregnancy, hetrophile antibodies, Ig A deficiency.
But final confirmation of pregnancy should be done by BLood HCG/ultrasound scan. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
