My 13 year old brother has like chunks of white stuff in his ear canal and if u get some out and roll it between fingers it unrolls like paper. What could this be and could it affect his hearing or would he need tubes. Oh yea he says he ears hurt sometimes and they always running wax.
The white chunks are due to ear wax and is a normal phenomenon, so you dont have to worry. If however he has an ear block , recurrent pain or infections , he will have to meet his ent doctor to get the ear canal cleaned. Please dont use ear drops or medications , as they are not required at present.
Thanks
