What Do You Give A Baby For Runny Nose?

Hi..I am a mom of 15months old girl. She has a running nose since two days and couldn t sleep the whole night because of nose congestion.. Her body temperature is also little more.. I have tried saline drops and removing stuffs from her nose. Still Is there any way I can help her make easy?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You can use Tylenol for the high temperature or Ibuprofen.
Saline nose spray or drops are a good choice for your 15 months old girl to loosen up dried mucus.There are no other treatments for runny nose safe to use at her age.
You have to continue doing washes whenever the girl can't breathe through the nose and before feedings, until she gets better.
If the air in her room is dry, you can use a humidifier.
