What Do You Suggest For A 6 Yr Old Who Wakes Up Vomiting?

Hi
I have a 6 year old who wakes up vommiting, this is approx the 5th time in 6 months this has happened. The vomit is thick and full the first time then after that mostly clear and foamy then just yellow bile. This usually stops by tea time and he is absolutely fine. What could it be?

Your son as per your history is suffering from cyclical vomiting syndrome.
this condition is difficult to treat.
Anti emetics and antispasmodics may help
After few years it may subside of its own.
