What Do You Suggest For A Bleeding Nose And A Dull Persistent Headache Caused Due To A Nose Injury A Month Ago?
About a month ago I dropped a heavy shelf on my nose. It didnt bleed. Very little swelling. Slight bruising. But sinse then I have a dull persistent headache that doesn t go away. Today I had a nose bleed the first since the injury. I have nt sought medical care yet. Butvi am thinking maybe I should.

hello. it is unlikely that your nose bleeding is due to the injury by the shelf and may be unrelated to it. headache for a month is a cause of concern and i recommend you meet your neurosurgeon/doctor for examination and advice, thanks

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Blood from nose is very common and in your case it may or may not be related to the injury.
In any case start an antihistamine like levocetrizine and also otrivin nasal drops in collaboration with your doctor
Do not strain or blow or clean your nose roughly
Wait for a couple of days and if the bleed persists or it increases then get a CT PNS and get back to me or any ENT doctor with the report
