What Do You Suggest For Burning Sensation On The Vagina When On Climen Pills?
This is about any type of side effects from the Climen pills from Bayer manufacture which my wife had been taken for the last 4 months under prescription from her doctor in order to help her with the menopause. For some reason my wife is suffering from some kind of irritation or burning sensation right at the bottom of her vagina since about two weeks. We visited a private clinic where they did several test (chlamydia, gonococcus and trich vag) but the results were all negative. So, if there any other type of side effects from this medication???? Please advise. Thank you.
The climen pills usually do not produce burning and irritation. It may be occurring due to lower estrogen levels after menopause. The dose of Hormone Replacement Therapy [climen pills] may be insufficient for your wife. The itch may be due to vaginal dryness that occurs after menopause.
I suggest that you consult your doctor and get the dose adjusted. Another remedy is use of estrogen vaginal creams that help decreasing vaginal dryness and control itch due to dryness.
