Hello and welcome to HCM,
The two problems that you have mentioned -
hip pain and sluggish bowel movement can be related or can be two separate pathologies.
Hip pain, trembling legs,
nerve pain are suggestive of a pathology in the hip joint.
Clinical examination of the joint and relevant investigations need to be done to find out the cause of pain and nerve compression.
Arthritis is the most common cause of these symptoms.
Movement at the hip joint can also be compromised in such disease process.
The sluggish bowel movement can be managed by various life style modifications and medication.
Increase the intake of fiber rich foods and fluids can improve the bowel movements.
There are some bowel disorders which can affect the joints also.
Ulcerative colitis is one of the condition wherein there is inflammation of the bowel causing
abnormal bowel movements.
It can affect the joints and cause arthritis.
You need to consult your orthopedician and physician for clinical evaluation and further management.
Thanks and take care
