What Do You Suggest For Yellow Discharge When On Provera?
hi I have had my period for three weeks they gave me what I think is provera to help stop the bleeding I stoped taking it and now at the end of my period I have yellow discharge and my period stops then comes back light then goes and then I get yellow discharge again
Provera may cause irregular bleeding but does not cause a yellow discharge.
Other causes are a cervical lesion, more likely a polyp or a erosion or a cancer cervix [very rare]. Another reason may be endometritis or infection of the endometrium [lining cells of the uterus]. Infections of vagina may also cause this.
It is best to get a gynecological examination done to look at the cervix and vagina and also evaluate the uterus. Then the further treatment will be decided.
