What Do You Suggest If Having High BP And Profusely Sweating On Waking Up?
Doc. I am diagnosed with HBP. The first reading 4 days ago was 154/100. I was asked to take etizola and sleep well since the condition might have been induced by lack of sleep since I work till late night and wake up early. I also took sarpagandha bati along with this. yesterday my BP was 142/92. The doc asked me to take Nexito 10 mg for ten days. But last night I could not sleep after 1.30PM. Was perspiring profusely on waking up which concerned me a lot. WHats your advise?

Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Praveen G's Response
Hello Welcome to HCM Thanks for posting your query. I understand your concerns. As you blood pressure readings are borderline high you need to start the antihypertensive at a very low dosage like ramipril tablet 2.5mg.
Also do regular exercises, cut down sodium in the diet. Do also yoga and meditation. This will help your body to fight against stress.
Regarding your sweating, do consult your doctor and get an ECG done.
Hope this helps you. Thank you
