Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Sometimes, the ovulation is delayed and hence the conception of pregnancy is delayed. In such conditions, the gestation age does not corresponds to the last menstrual period. If the ultrasound is showing increase in the size of the gestation sac over time, then it is a good sign, and is indicative that the pregnancy is progressing. I would suggest you to get your ultrasound repeated after 2 weeks to assess the fetal well being and hence the viability of pregnancy. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health.
