What Does AHDL-74,AST-12 And ALT-27 Indicate?
I am a 50 yo F. My blood chemistry test for AHDL resulted in a 74. I am not familiar with this term and am not sure if this is cause for concern. Cholesterol/HDL ratio is 2.45(seems good) LDL is 95. AST is12 and ALT is 27. These numbers are marked as low. I am also not familiar with these terms. Please explain AHDL,AST,ALT and interpret the numbers for me.

Hi, dear. I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Your HDL cholesterol and LDL cholesterol is very good. Ast and alt is liver enzymes. Your liver enzymes are within normal range. Overall you don't have any abnormality. You are perfectly fine. So no need to worry. Just be relaxed.
