What Does Placenta Location Is Anterior Fundal Grade II & The Fetal Presentation Is Breech Mean?

Hi Doc,
I'm in 26 weeks pregnancy and I had my ultrasound last August and the results states that my placenta location is anterior fundal grade II and the fetal presentation is breech. What does it mean? Is there any problem having a normal delivery with this kind of result? What should I do? Can I go for an exercise even during my first trimister I experienced some spotting?

Thanks!

hi,placenta location grade 2 anterior is absolutely normal and not a matter of concern.breech presentation means that baby s legs are towards the cervix and head is high up.in normal cases the baby s head is towards the cervix.but at this stage there is nothing to worry as most babies undergo spontaneus correction of the position and become cephalic ie head towards the cervix by 36 weeks.your final ultrasound around 36 weeks will reveal the baby s position and will help decide modality of birth.if its your first baby and continues to be breech then in that case cesearean section is a safer option.take care.
