What Does A Bloodshot In Eye Mean?

I wear contacts and yesterday I was watching a movie on my computer. I looked in the mirror afterwards and my right eye was very bloodshot in the outer corner. It didn't hurt so I wasn't sure how it happened. I kept my contacts in because I thought my eyes were just dry from watching the movie. But it didn't go away. It started to feel a little tender every time I blinked but it doesn't hurt. I woke up this morning and my right eye was crust and it was still bloodshot. I don't know what this is. I thought it might be pink eye but it doesn't hurt and it is only bloodshot in the corner.

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

It seems from the history that you are probably having subconjunctival hemorrhage caused by contact lens induced trauma. Since you are not having pain and irritation it does not seem to be like pink eye.
If it is subconjunctival hemorrhage it will resolve by itself and no treatment is generally required.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
