What Does A Blue Bruise Under The Hamstring Of The Right Leg Indicate?

Hello Sir. My fiancé recently noticed a bluish bruising under her hamstring on her right leg. We don t believe it was an injury or a bruise. Looks like a the veins might be whats bluish. She used to work out frequently but recently took a few weeks break. She started back two days ago and this has occurred. Hoping there is no relation. Thank you. SHe is 35 and an African American Female, medium build.

Bruises are nothing but a collection of blood underneath the skin. It might be due to minor trauma unnoticed by you.

Generally, it will settle in a couple of days. If persists you can consult a physician for further assessment.
