Hi,I have a small brown spot that appeared suddenly on the sole of my foot - I thought it was dirt or something but it won t wash away. It s flat, not itchy, not painful and has been there about a week and a half now - I don t think it s anything to be concerned about, but just curious as to what it could be?
It could possibly be a wart, which is a viral infection. But it needs to be confirmed by examination. If it is a wart, salicylic - lactic acid application or trearment with liquid nitrogen is required. It has a tendency to spread. So visit a dermatologist without further delay.
Hope this helps
