I was just told I have a large budging disk in between my L4 and L5 but what concerns me the most is that they said i also have a large cyst on the bulging disk that is pushing against the nerves which is causing me my pain. What does this mean. Is it certain surgery?

Hello, It might be a benign tumour (non-cancerous) arising from the nerves. Strict follow up is required to monitor any recent increase in size.
