I have a cyst on my chin. The doctor thinks it s an acne cyst (even though I m 19 and have never had a cyst before). I ve been on an antibiotic for about 2 weeks. After 2 days on it, the cyst was basically gone, I could only feel just a little fluid under the skin. Now, while still on the antibiotic, it s getting bigger and to the surface and visible again. What is going on? Is it trying to form a head and leave? What can I do?
Acne Cysts are hard to go. The only solution is to give an intra-lesional steroid injection in the cyst. Or alternative is to excise it completely. Last alternative is to not do anything and let it resolve on its on but we wont know when that will happen. If you ask me I ll always suggest you to go to a good dermatologist and get the intralesional steroid injection in the cyst so that the cyst resolves speedily
