What Does A Dark And Painful Pimple In Pubic Area Indicate?
I noticed that on the right side of my upper pubic area I have watched it grow from a small pimple size to a 2 inch very, very dark brown pump that is painful to the touch. Do you have an idea of what it might be? I don t shave so I know that it isn t from shaving and I am married so I have no other sex partners just my husband.
I can understand your concern for dark and painful pimple in pubic area. After analyzing the query I can make out that the swelling is present near the pubic area. As per the site the only possibility remains of "Sebaceous cyst" or an ingrown hair.
To tell you regarding this condition : Both of these are formed due to blockage of the oil glands of the affected skin. Sebaceous cyst is totally painless and remains silent till the time it becomes infected. It is rather a simpler cyst and can be easily taken out by excision. It has very less tendency of recurrence if properly drained.
As the swelling is painful so the possibility of ingrown hair is more. It requires a personalized examination to determine the possibility of any of these conditions. I reassure you fully that both of these are quite simple conditions and can be treated very easily.
