What Does A Dry Small Circle Near Collar Bone Indicate?

A couple of weeks ago I noticed a small circle of what looks like dry skin near my collarbone, but I have put lotion on it, and it is still there. It doesn t itch or anything, it is just a crazy pink circle. Should I be worried? How should I treat it?

Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic

It would be hard to comment on the exact etiology of it without having an opportunity to look at it.
However, it can be a ringworm/Tinea corporis.
Itching is subjective in individuals.

I would suggest an OTC topical antifungal e.g 1% clotrimazole cream, twice daily for 2-4 weeks.

If it still does'nt seem to respond you should pay a visit to a dermatologist for a review of the clinical diagnosis.

Regards
