What Does A Faint Line On A Pregnancy Test After A Medical Abortion Indicate?
So I had a medical Abortion on the 15th of October and bled for a week. So this month November 09th I decided to check with a pregnancy test strip and I’m seeing a faint line on the stick please what could these mean. Also two weeks after the Abortion , I and my partner started having sex but with condom on. So I don’t know why I’m getting the faint line even after the Abortion
Ideally, HCG level starts reducing in 2-7 weeks after miscarriage but several weeks after abortion, HPT may show a faint positive line. Since you have got a faint positive like on pregnancy test you are advised to wait for a couple of days and get a blood test for pregnancy done or get USG (uterus with fallopian tubes) done to rule out pregnancy or ectopic pregnancy. Stay at rest. Take home food and foods that have minerals and protein. Avoid both physical and emotional stress and anxiety.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
