What Does A Growing Lump Near The Groin Area Indicate?

I have a lump about the size of a walnut underneath the skin around my upper inner thigh near the groin area. I noticed it about 10 weeks ago when it was the size of a large grape but has now since grown in the past week. The pain when I press on it feels like a bruise so not really painful at all. Hope it's just a swollen node.

Hi,
From your description, you may be correct in thinking it is a swollen node. As it has been present for 10 weeks, I suggest you see your doctor for assessment. There is a possibility it may need further investigation.
Regards,
Dr K A Pottinger
