What Does A Hard Lump Behind Ears Indicate?

I m 76 and I have a hard lump behind my right ear at the base of my skull.that s ok I m not paying to get an answer from you I will go to my DR. because I have insurance, and it doesn t cost anythingout of my pocket. thanks for not stating the cost up front wasting my time.

Hello

Welcome in HCM.

I understand your concern, your clinical history suggest as you may be having-

1- Post aural lymphadenitis.

2- growth from mastoid bone.

to confirm the nature of lump you should do-

a- FNAC from lump

b- MRI of ear.

once the diagnosis is made treatment may be plan out.
