What Does A Hard Spot In Lower Right Side Of Stomach Indicate?

I have a hard spot in my lower right side of my tummy!! Prob about 1 inch from my hip bone!! I have had a cesection about 1 1/2 years ago?? Is this something I need to go get checked or am I just finding something that has always been there and just now noticed!!!
