What Does A Huge Knot Between The Penis And Hip Bone Indicate?
My husband has this huge knot between his penis and his hip bone. he has had a small one for over 10 years but in the last 2 weeks it has got huge. Now it is about 3 to 4 in length and it sticks off his skin about 2 inches. Its huge but he won t go to the doctor. Is this a cyst or something else? I m really worried about him! Please tell me something to do. I want to stick a needle in it to see if it will pop but scared to.

He probably has an inguinal hernia.This knot is coming from the abdomen & carries with it intestinal cover called omentum & sometimes the intestine, which can strangulate and obstruct causing severe pain, and is an emergency.Before it gets to that, he needs to see his surgeon for hernia repair & probably a mesh placement as well,to prevent recurrences.Please keep the needle away as you can perforate his intestine with dire consequences!
