What Does A Large Lump Next To The Eye Indicate?

My nephew is incarcerated now and he is concerned about a large lump that had popped up near his eye, his eye is shut due to the largeNess of the lump. They didn t let him see a dictor, a nurse gave him antibiotics and said it was an infection. I believe he is more concerned as his mother died from csncer. Do you have any ideas as to what this large lump, that popped out suddenly, could be?

Usually in kids large lumps can be a sty or chalazion which are indeed gland infections. Therefore, I cannot answer for sure as I haven't seen the lump. I want to your doctor to really look into the lump near your eye and advise you accordingly.
