Hi I m a 31 year old female recently I had pain in my anus due 2 constipation. I have visited my G.P n have been examined she said I have an anal fissure. I have been having problems with constipation so I took a laxitive while in the toilet I pushed out hard. I did get relief from the constipation but noticed a lump just above my anus.its very soft but not painful. Is it anything to be worried about?
Hi,Dear,Thanks for the query to HCM.I studied it in full details. The lump above anus indicates -Sentinel Pile-a painless skin tag above the anus indicate the presence of the Anal Fissure which you possess for quite a long time and indicates many died out attacks of acute inflammations with Fissure in Ano. You need not worry for its presence,as its non-cancerous. I would advise you to consult a ER Surgeon, who would take care of the painless lump along with fissure in ano, which caused constipation you had. Hope this would resolve your issue with anal lump. Welcome for any further query to HCM. Please hit thanks and write excellent reviews if this reply has helped you. Have a Good Day. Dr.Savaskar M.N.
