What Does A Lump Next To The Clitoris Indicate?

I have a lump next to my clitoris. It s under the skin and only occasionally feels sore. I can feel it but not see it. It s about the size of a pea and it feels like I can move it almost, It seems to come and go irregularly, what is it? Should I be worried?

Hi,

It seems to be a superficial bacterial infection of labia. In genital area due to constant friction and perspiration, such lesion can occur.

You can apply topical Neosporin cream over that. If not resolved in a few days then consult a gynecologist for a pelvic examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
