Hi, I am a 63yr old female I have been feeling worse continuously as weeks go on. I have a mass in my upper abdomen under my ribs (not a fibroid tumor, which I have of 4 cnts) but the gym said it was above the uterus and real hard. I am a chronic migraines with thyroid that was killed off. Now it looks like I m 9 mins pregnant, have a lot of pressure under my ribs and gained a lot of weight, about 5 days out of week my whole body hurts so so bad. Please tell me it s just nothing but old age, like my g p says. Thank you!!
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Mass at upper abdomen may be a epigastric hernia or rabdomyoma or lipoma. It may be intra abdominal originating tumor like ovarian or liver left love mass etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your doctor he will examine and do scan abdomen then treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
