Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I took my husband to the hosp had an extensive blood clot from top of ankle to groin he went home after hepron and then was started on eloquis he had gone back to dr. they now did mri and says he has meniscus flap and has bone on bone on the knee he can t put any pressure with his foot to the ground and each time his foot goes to the ground it is red in color ....what is going on
As per your symptoms you need to do physiotherapy and knee exercises to improve range of motion . If pain persist then you may need to do MRI again to see for any functional defect.
Small meniscus tear can be managed conservatively with physiotherapy with USG and TENS. Meniscus injury can be managed by arthroscopic repair, and same day you can go home. Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
Take care
