What Does A Painful Knot On Thigh Indicate?

I have had a small bump/knot on the back of my thigh for about 6 months. Yesterday I realized that there is another one there and they are both red now. About as big as a penny. The one that has been there the longest has never hurt. But now they both do. And the pain is bad enough that I cant sit or lay down if anything is touching them. Help please.

Hello,

I have studied your case.

As per your history it looks swelling of soft tissue which can be hemangioma or sebaceous cyst.
I will advise to consult surgeon for clinical examination and if required proper investigation.
I will advise you to do MRI and Ultrasound of the swelling.
Benign swelling giving rise to pain can be excised.
