What Does A Painful Lump On The Knee Indicate?

Had total knee replacement 13 years ago. Yesterday morning I had very bad sudden pain on the side of one knee then a golf ball size lump appeared. I felt like it was bleeding but there was no blood. The lump is a little smaller today but more harder and I had a x-ray made this morning.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
