What Does A Painful Lump On The Left Leg Indicate?
Ok, I have developed a lump in my left leg recently that is mid-leg and near the shinbone. It is painful to the touch and seems to subside then gets inflamed again. My question is...could this be a blood clot or perhaps a tumor. I am trying to decide what type of doctor to consult for this issue. Any suggestions?

Painful lump on shin indicates possible infection or inflammation in soft tissue lesion as sebaceous cyst, boil or others.
It does not narrate tumor, advisable to consult with consultant surgeon for further diagnosis and management guidelines.
