What Does A Painful Spot With Green Discharge Near Ear Indicate?
I have a spot on my ear just above the ear hole. Its been there for about 5 days roughly and I poped it about 3 days ago and I can pop it twice a day. When I pop it green stuff comes out king of like a bojey but more slimey. It is painful when pressure is put onto it even hours after it has been poped. I'm a 14 year old girl, should I be worried?
You seem to have an infected cyst or even a sweat gland which is partially recovering but the complete recovery needs a good antibiotic treatment along with a possible good drainage of the infected matter.
In any case it would be advisable to not to ignore the swelling as then it may lead to complications which can be permanent though rare and get an ENT consult as soon as possible.
Having mentioned the above I would also like to state that it would not be something to be worried about and can be definitely treated
