What Does A Painless White Spot In Throat Indicate?
Have had a painless white spot on the left side of my throat left of the uvula. Just over six months. Was told by a oncologist that it was a result of being sick and should go away on its own.. That was about four months ago. Is it possible that it is a little pocket of pus leftover from being ill?
After reading your clinical history it appears that you are most probably having follicular tonsillitis . White spot in tonsils are due infected debris.
If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice you Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily , Plenty of fluids & Tab Vitamin C twice daily .
Hope it is helpful to you . If you have any further questions I will be happy to help. Regards.
