What Does A Red Bump Inside The Vaginal Opening After Intercourse Indicate?

I had rough sex last night and about half way through I felt a bit of friction but then that seemed to go away after a bit of due to me getting more aroused. I was a little sore after, but I expected that. Anyways this morning I have one tiny red dot/bump inside my vaginal opening and a small part of my skin looks rubbed off/peeled/ raw next to my clitoris and on my outer labia. No itching. Or pain. Just feels tender to touch and a little sore. No odd discharge or smells. I do have hsv2 but I don’t ever really get breakouts at all. I’ve had like one actual breakout in the past 3 years and I take valtrex everyday as surpressive medication.

Hello,

It could be a simple blister.

As a first line management, you can apply topical antibiotics like Mupirocin for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
