I have a red pimple like bump on the hood of my clit , when it first came up I thought it was like a pimple. A little bit of puss comes out when I squeeze it but not a lot , it also looks like a swollen fordyce spot or herpes but I ve never been exposed to herpes so I doubt it would be that please help I m freaking out
Hello Thank you for asking the question. red bump over clitoris and pus discharge from it indicates probably sebaceous cyst. if it is painful then inflammation may occurred in it. it is subside by its own, if not treatment is required. warming the area with any material may helpful to you. regarding herpes, it occurs by herpes simplex virus. whenever it occurs, it is very painful, burning sensation, itching etc symptoms occurs. you are not experiencing these type of symptoms, so possibility is less. my advice is that if there is change in size of lump, there is change in discharge, pain or itching/burning sensation then immediately consult the doctor. otherwise no need to worry. hope this will helpful to you.
