Hey i was watching a movie and i was eating a lemon, during the movie i felt a bump on my upper lip while eating the lemon. After the movie was over i looked in the mirror and saw a red bump on the bottom of my upper lip, kinda going inside my mouth. I searched it up and i don’t know if it’s a cold sore or a canker sore, I’m really worry please help
Cold sore presents with a fluid-filled blister and it will be painful. Cold sore is associated with fever.
If it is a solid bump, it could be an inflammatory reaction of lip which could be due to a variety of causes. You could apply an antibiotic ointment if you have raw area on lip. But, I highly recommend you to consult your Dermatologist for pinpointing the diagnosis and for providing proper treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
