What Does A Red Rash Around Belly Button Indicate?

I have a reddish mark on my trunk a few inches to the left of my belly button. It started as 1 tiny blister which I thought I got from being in the sun. but then there were 2. it now appears flat and dry about an inch but never goes away. I ve had it over a year. went to 3 dermatologist. tried a shot of cortisone, Neosporin, steroid ointment, ringworm cream. It doesn t itch or burn, it just doesn t go away. It is only in that 1 spot. it has a faint brown border.

Hi

The rash you have might be a lesion of fungal infection.
Such lesions are red and dry looking and tend to appear oval or circular.
Topical steroid application might increase the infection,to avoid applying it.
Apply a topical antifungal cream like clotrimazole over the affected area twice daily.
Take some oral antihistamines like levocetrizine once daily at night to relieve the itching.
