What Does A Small Black Circle In Eyes Indicate?

Last night I noticed a round black small circle in the center of my right eye. My eyes were examined and dilated a few months ago resulting in a positive report; left needing only reading glasses at age 64. However, I am concerned with this circle that will not move. Your professional opinion please. Thanks! Jan

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having black circle in the visual field.
This can be because of vitreous detachment or vitreous detachment which is common after 60 years.
This is a benign condition and will not cause any problem, hence no need to worry.
However dilated examination to rule out retinal problems like retinal tear is required and if it is gone then no need to worry.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Do write back yo me for further questions.

Thank you
