What Does A Small Dot Of A Open Cut On Temple Indicate?
I have had a small dot of a open cut on the side of my temple for a few years, and it has never healed. It will scab over, but the first time you comb your hair or brush against with a towel it is a open cut again. I am just wondering what it could be. Possibly a mole that I knocked the head off or what?
From all that you describe it seems to be a erosion of skin that doesn't heal, usually the skin need 10-12 weeks to heal the wound. So you have to contact your dermatologist to evaluate it and strongly suggest you to make a dermatoscopy (dermatoscopy is the examination of the skin using skin surface microscopy).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
