What Does A Small Lump At The Back Of Throat Indicate?

I have a small lump at the back of my throat on the left hand side which appears to have a yellow head. I can reach the lump with my finger and it feels hard but not sore to touch even though my throat is slightly sore. My throat feels like it has something stuck in it. Any ideas what this could be?

Hello.read through ur query and accordingly i must say that nothing to be worried in this case.Its just an inflammed tonsils.It can be treated by doing hot salt water gargle,do regular tongue scraping(tongue harbors millions of microorganisms which causes inflammation of the tonsil),do chlorhexidine mouthrinse,have lots of hot food and reduce cold food stuffs.Follow these for few weeks and if still pain persists meet an entsurgeon get it treated by antibiotics etc.Besides all these be cool and calm.Cool mind can be best medicine for any disease.Hope u r benefitted from this reply.Have a healthy day!!!
