What Does A Small Lump On Head Indicate?

My mom has a small lump on her head underneath the skin. It doesn t move on it s own but if you take two fingers and press a tiny bit, you can move it. It s like a little rock under her skin. What is it? Does it sound like she needs medical care immediately?

Hi,
This is most likely to be a sebaceous cyst. They are commonly found on the scalp and are not serious. She does not need to seek medical attention unless it becomes painful or swollen which would indicate infection.
